Coalfield College, proudly owned and operated by Dr. Danny Jude of Kenova, WV, operates under the umbrella of Coalfield Family Services, also owned by Dr. Jude. With over 20 years of experience in the business world and 15 years in the fields of mental health and addiction, Dr. Jude brings a depth of knowledge and practical expertise to every aspect of the college’s operations. He holds a doctorate in business administration, a master’s degree in social work, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Additionally, he is an independently licensed clinical social worker, an advanced drug and alcohol counselor, and a certified anger management specialist. Coalfield College is permitted to operate under the WVCCTCE. Our diverse range of programs, including medical assistant, EKG technician, phlebotomy, medical billing and coding, and more, which are accredited by NCCT. The CNA program is approved by the Office of Health Facility Licensure & Certification, and our substance abuse training programs hold approval from IC&RC and WVCBAPP. We are passionate about preparing students with the practical skills, certifications, and confidence they need to excel in their chosen careers and positively impact their communities.
